Attention Business Professionals:
How Much Is Stress Eating Away At Your Performance,
Your Productivity, And Your Profits?
(and are you too stressed out to even enjoy the benefits of all your hard work?)
Consider This:
...If your stress level was cut by 50%...75%...90%...
...If you could spend twice as much time in a true peak state...
...If everyone on your staff could experience those same results...
...What kind of an impact would that have on your business - and your life?
Sound Too Good To Be True?
These are exactly the kinds of results being reported by Executive Coaches and Corporate Consultants with the use of a leading edge stress reduction & performance enhancement technology called EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing. EMDR is an accelerated change technology originally developed in 1987 by California Psychologist Francine Shapiro as a breakthrough counseling treatment for anxiety and traumatic stress.
Since that time, EMDR has received significant press (including segments on 20/20 and Dateline) for the rapid changes it produces, and has had more research studies proving its dramatic speed and profound effectiveness than any other counseling treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. In fact, EMDR was the method used by many counselors to treat the survivors of the Oklahoma City bombing and the 9-11 terrorist attack in New York.
Over the last ten years, EMDR practitioners have been developing ways of applying this technology to many other types of issues, including the stress management and personal development needs of business professionals and their work teams who want to create optimal performance in the workplace.
EMDR Can Be Used To...
- Procrastination & Indecision
- Distractibility & Poor Concentration
- Feelings of Inadequacy, Incompetence, Overwhelm
- Performance Anxiety, Fear of Failure, Fear of Rejection
- Focus, Concentration, Motivation
- Self-Confidence & Personal Initiative
- Effective Prioritization & Time Management
- Quick & Effective Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
- Accelerated Learning & Use of New Information and New Skills
Extraordinary Results...
EMDR has proven to be the most powerful technology to date for creating measurable, sustainable improvements in performance more rapidly than conventional forms of Executive Coaching. EMDR is not just "thinking yourself into acting & feeling better," but rather a process of actually stimulating the client's own brain and central nervous system to function at a much higher capacity.
As a result, EMDR is extremely effective in treating even the most difficult issues in a surprisingly short amount of time - translating into reduced costs for the client and company. Many clients also find EMDR easier to benefit from, in that it does not require the disciplined mental work of most conventional approaches to personal development. Additionally, the changes produced by EMDR really seem to stick, and don't require ongoing conditioning like verbal coaching does.
So How Does EMDR Work?
It appears that this method unlocks and accesses valuable information stored in the brain. The negative states that typically inhibit optimal physical, mental, and emotional functioning are often the direct result of the cumulative effects of stress over time. Results of recent research show that stress damages several different neuro-biological processes, resulting in negative alterations to brain chemistry and the blocking of information processing.
EMDR seems to actually accelerate information processing and reverse, resolve, and eliminate the cumulative effects of stress - producing a healthier emotional balance, more constructive thinking patterns, more positive belief systems, and new awarenesses and insights that further improve the client's functioning in the future. In fact, many clients who had at one time depended on antidepressant medication are able to eliminate their need for these drugs.
Interestingly, Dr. Shapiro and her staff at the EMDR Institute in Palo Alto, California will only teach this method to individuals who are already licensed counselors, so the only Executive Coaches and Corporate Consultants who can be trained in EMDR are those who are also licensed counselors.
CLIENT FEEDBACK:
"The EMDR sessions for performance enhancement were an amazing experience for me! All my different thoughts and feelings just became organized and clear in a way that would not have been possible without our work. The dots were connected and now everything seems crystal clear. Not only that the next steps for performance enhancements are clear, but also a lot of personal issues began to dissolve! You are a terrific trainer and clinician. Thanks so much for helping me to start the process of removing the interferences from so many previously confusing blocks!"
- Dr. S. D., PhD. - Los Angeles, CA
April 6th, 2007 (5 months after the last session):
"I thought there was nothing I could do to achieve a break-through. I engaged in EMDR sessions with Greg Smith and after 5 sessions I saw tremendous results. I have successfully achieved working through the mental block and performance issues of my tennis serve, and therefore would describe the EMDR experience as a positive one."
- Christi Suchyna, Director of Sales & Marketing, Operations Associates
"I am now an even bigger believer in the power of EMDR. I wanted you to work with me because I saw that you cut to the chase and went straight to the heart of the matter. You are thorough, practical, detailed, and on-point. As an EMDR therapists myself, I regard your skills to be the best I've seen - you understand and use this method superbly. Kudos for a job well done - for the first time in my life, I finally feel free to pursue my own true purpose, path, passions, and priorities."
- Dr. A. H., PhD - Powell, WY
(After a single 45-minute session):
"This was truly life-changing for me. As a counselor and a professional speaker, I was able to identify the specific constellation of issues at the core of most of my performance blocks. After years of other types of counseling, there was something pivotally different about EMDR that has literally changed my emotional and physical energy! I certainly plan to follow up with more EMDR work - but in the meantime, I am truly free in a way that I do not remember, ever. Tremendously exciting, not to mention liberating."
- D. W., MSW - San Francisco, CA
